    Looks like yet another really cool game is on the way for the iPhone/iPod touch from ace publisher Chillingo if this new trailer is anything to go by. The Hero is the work of Finnish developers Traplight Games, and is due for release at the end of February.     Fantastic news for classic FPS fans, Mobila Interactive and Apogee Software have today announced the imminent release of Rise of the Triad for the iPhone/iPod touch.  This is what Terry Nagy, chief creative officer of Apogee Software, had to say about the game: “Rise of the Triad introduced a lot of ‘industry firsts’. Many features pioneered by Apogee long ago have become integral to the first-person shooters of today.     According to a report on today’s Guardian Technology blog, several analysts are predicting that Apple will soon be launching location-based services, including sending targeted adverts to users from nearby shops and restaurants.     AT&T today announced the launch of its FamilyMap app on the iTunes App Store. The app is designed to give families a more seamless experience when locating and connecting with each other on the go using iPhone. The app achieves this by finding wireless devices within a shared family account, and gives iPhone users access to FamilyMap features that were previously only available via a computer.     Glu mobile has today announced the release of its real-world-meets-fantasy-world treasure-hunting game, 1000: Find ‘Em All! for iPhone and iPod touch. Players must navigate their way around the actual real world around them in order to explore and discover items in the game’s fantasy world.     Following on from Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ widely reported disparaging comments about Adobe and Flash this week at an Apple Town Hall, PCWorld is reporting that Adobe CTO Kevin Lynch has written a blog which starts off by addressing the fact that there’s no Flash on the iPad and goes on to defend Flash’s record, stating that it is used in more than 85 percent of the top Web sites, as well as being a major player in the smartphone market.     According to a post on Skype’s official blog, a version of Skype for iPhone that supports 3G calling is on its way. As has been widely reported both here on Talk iPhone and all over the internet, since Apple released their new 3.2 Software Development Kit last week, the restrictions on making calls via 3G have been lifted.     1Up.com is reporting today that Blizzard has announced an Auction House app for World of Warcraft. A Blizzard employee called Bornakk made the announcement on the official WoW forums, stating: “While there are still plenty of details to be worked out, we’re designing the service to offer auction functionality similar to what’s available in-game.
