Apple 2.0 demand #4: I want a hard drive

November 21st, 2007

What do my computer, my keychain, and my brain all have in common? They all act as hardrives where I can store wonderful amounts of information whenever I want.

Now what does the iPhone not do? Act as a hard drive.

While I can kind of see the problem with this as far as storing data in the phone, I really don’t see why they can’t have a partitioned Hard drive that I can plug into with my USB cable and store information, or even better be able to download and store more than just music files. That’s right Apple I got a challenge for you.

If like me you find the absence of this function irritating, check out this post here, while it is not quite the same as a native feature, from what I understand it can do what you want.
