In advance of the release of Brothers in Arms 2 for the iPhone/iPod touch on February 22nd, a week later than originally planned, Gameloft has released a cracking new trailer for the game. The sequel to last year’s Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes features five battlefields on three continents, and aside from running and gunning, players will also get the chance to pilot a tank, jeep or glider in the course of their missions. There are also several six-player Versus multiplayer maps to get to grips with.
According to Pocket Gamer, the playing time should be around six hours, which is impressive for an iPhone game, and Pocket Gamer also says that the game plays more like Call of Duty than a Brothers in Arms game, especially with the more immersive first-person viewpoint replacing the old third-person view. No word about pricing yet but Gameloft usually prices its games competitively so I’m sure it’ll be worth it.
