Let’s pretend for a second that you aren’t swimming in pools filled with diamonds, wiping with $100 bills, and have several thousand dollars to spend on an iPhone that has some rare reptile's skin on the back casing.  I know it is going to be a stretch, but follow along with me.  If you are looking for a way to customize your iPhone so that it doesn’t look like the three other iPhones that are sitting on the table at your favorite watering hole, but also want to be able to afford that third beer, I think Griffin might have the answer for you.

They have a Co-Op program that has generated several really cool cases for that iPhone of yours.  Depending on the style you are looking for, Griffin + Chilewich or Griffin + Threadless might just be up your alley.

Chilewich is using some modern textiles that start with an outer layer of Sandy Chilewich's trademarked Mini Basketweave woven vinyl textile, and then it is coupled with an impact-resistant polycarbonate inner shell that surrounds and protects your iPhone.  It provides that earthy, homespun feel without sacrificing protection.

The newest colab brings in Threadless, a t-shirt company that is working with several emerging artists to get their designs to the people.  They sorted through all of their designs, and all their artists to select two designs and transform them into a case for the iPhone.

These cases are gonna run you a few dollars more than your average run of the mill case, but not by much ($35-$40).  But also you will look like you wrapped your phone in a burlap sack, or that you cut up your favorite shirt to make a case!
