Looks like yet another really cool game is on the way for the iPhone/iPod touch from ace publisher Chillingo if this new trailer is anything to go by. The Hero is the work of Finnish developers Traplight Games, and is due for release at the end of February. Chillingo describes The Hero as a “witty arcade platform shooter,” adding, “There’s NEVER been a superhero quite like this before!” Traplight , for their part, say that their game is all about:

“Crashing and bashing into a s**tload of different enemies, 15-level campaign with a wacky storyline, survival mode, strange humor and fast-paced action.”

Gotta admit, the way the game combines zany platform heroics with film noir cutscenes is pretty awesome, and the trailer is already getting lots of good press! The trailer also features a kick-ass soundtrack courtesy of Jesse, who are apparently “the bad boys of Finnish electro”, according to Traplight. Let's hear it for Finland!
