Copy and Paste For iPhone, Well Kinda
March 12th, 2008
A copy and paste function for the iPhone has to be one of the most requested additions to the device since it’s release. Well thanks to a little tool called iCopy that request has been partially filled.
Created by Preston Monroe, iCopy is a simple bookmarklet workaround, which allows you to copy from a web page into a cookie which can then be pasted into another web page or even into a new email.
iCopy isn’t perfect, but it’s a good start. Obviously this only works in Safari and its integrated Mail app.
