With the start of the 2010 Formula 1 season just around the corner with the Bahrain Grand Prix upcoming this weekend, lots of F1 apps in the Apple iTunes App Store are being upgraded or released in new and improved versions. With some of the apps being quite expensive, it’s refreshing to see that Infindo’s F1 2010, which is one of the apps that seems to have high user approval ratings on the store, is also currently one of the cheapest, at $1.99/£1.79/€2.39, although this is a “70% off” limited-edition offer, so you’ll have to be quick snapping it up.
Newly updated with PUSH technology, F1 2010 boasts detailed information for all of the 2010 races, with exclusive live lap-by-lap commentary for all sessions, including practice, top stories, results, schedules, standings, and drivers/teams/circuit information. The exclusive PUSH notifications will deliver alerts for practice, qualifying and race day results, and you have the option to turn them off if you like. The app will also deliver top stories and breaking news throughout the season, plus table standings with real-time updates for both drivers’ and constructors’ tables. Each driver and team also has their own profiles, and you’ll be able to study each track on the circuit in detail as they also all have their own profile pages. And finally, you can avoid ever missing the start of a session because you got your times wrong, as all schedules have local time zone support.
