As of this morning, the Facebook iPhone App is the 11th ranked top free application on the App Store.  This app makes it easy to stay in touch and facebrag with your online friends and family. The current version is great and does the job however it does lack features that the iPhone 3GS  offers. Facebook engineer and Facebook App developer Joe Hewitt posted a quick update on the upcoming version on twitter saying:

"Just uploaded Facebook for iPhone 3.0 to the App Store for review" "I’ll be posting more details and screen shots to the app’s page on Facebook this week"

Now its up to Apple to push it live and we all know how long that can take. This will be a major update with much needed features such as:  Page updating, Video uploading, Event Management, Likes Functions, and the “new” News. The photos posted above are a preview of whats to come.
