During a recent interview with French Business daily Les Echos, Apple's European VP Pascal Cagni confirmed that Apple will begin offering movie downloads through its iTunes store before the end of the year.
He added Apple Europe aims to have around 70 sales outlets within larger retail stores open across the continent by the end of the year. Source: Macworld UK |

This for me is a natural progression for the Apple Store. If they can achieve what they've done for MP3 with Movies then wow.

I doubt it, this will more than likely be focused around their Apple TV product. I'd like to see them offer a general movie download service.
