I have mp3 music that does not have an album cover for it. I would like to replace the musical note default picture on those with one that I created for a particular album.
let's say I have a dozen mp3's of my kid's band Performances and I'd like to put those mp3s in a album and display a picture of the kids band. How can I do this?
This wasn’t as hard as I initially thought; in fact it was quite easy to do with iTunes so I’ll answer my own question here.
Open iTunes and click on Library Music, right click on any album or song and a window will pop up.
Click on info and you can edit the Song Name, Artist, Album ect. If you enter an Album name say “Band Competition” then the song will be placed in an album folder called Band Competition. Any other music you enter the same album name for will also be placed in that album folder with the song name you give it.
Now for the Album Artwork, click on the Artwork tab for that song then click on the Add tab, browse your hard drive and select the photo you want to use for your Album cover and click Open. The photo will now be in the Artwork tab window click ok to save this and you’re all set. I tried this with jpg & bmp photos and both worked fine.
