You Tube Video Slow

I have owned my iphone for about a month. When I first got it, I played around watching you tube videos. They were always fast and streaming uninterrupted. However, now for some reason, I am experiencing huge delays and the videos don't even load near fast enough to avoid the clip from stopping. Is there something I can do to speed it back up?

I think this is because you memory is almost full of big size files which needs to be removed. This is making videos not run clearly as the system is running slow.
