Anybody have any chance to try the Apple wireless headset/mic? I'ver heard mixed reviews, with some people leaning toward the Jawbone. I kinda like the "low profile" design of the Apple one, as I am not yet used to running around with one of these things hanging from my ear without some embarassment. Even the Apple store people tend to like the jawbone, because they say the noise-cancelling is so good. It would be nice not to have a thing that looked like a big piece of jewelry stuffed in my ear.

regards,
Marty

I've actually not heard they are available yet. Are they?

I have the Jawbone, and if I could get the damn thing to fit right (I must have a weird ear) it'd be perfect.

Actually the thorough reviews pretty much agree, it looks great but lacks everything else. Average sound quality, horrible range, 1 button (no volume). I have the Plantronics 655, and it's decent. The range is a little low but everything else is fine. I hear the Jawbone sound is another league though.

I work in the music business and we use custom molded inner ears, there is a company who will now make custom molded ears for your headsets, hope this helps

Yeah, a friend of mine is going to let me borrow his Leopard family pack when he gets it in exchange for me loaning him Final Cut Pro. Now that I don't have to use my store credit on that I was thinking about a headset but I read a lot of bad reviews and now I'm not sure.

Anyone here have one? Comments?
