I bought an invisible shield for my old MacBook, and ended up with a $60 ball of plastic because even with their instructions and spray-lube, it wasn't that easy to cover such a large surface. The stuff was rather tough...
I also have heard good things about these guys - Best Skins Ever - who offers the same product for $8: www.bestskinsever.com has the same thing - just without fancy packaging, or the warranty. The only think I'd be worried about is making the screen-touch-sensitivity suffer. (Also - this should be in iPhone Accessories forum, probably. )

I have Invisible Sheild on my Palm V, my GPSMap 60CSx and my Nikon D50 camera...
I must say that each screen has lived up to what they say. My GPS has been dropped several times or tossed in a bag with other objects that would've/could've scratched it... It's held up well and the fact that they offer full lifetime replacement is a true plus. I opted to not use the one for the iPhone though... I bought the leather "case mate" holder with belt clip from the AT&T store. It held up well, even dropped it once. The iPhone has a small dent/scratch on the side from where the case didn't cover (go figure!). I'll post pictures later today.

FYI - I just ordered the "Best Skins Ever" protectors for iPhone. I'm definitely going to use the rear-cover one, undecided about the screen protector, however. We'll see.
I'll post pics and a review once I get it.

I have been useing the products from "ShieldZone" on all my phones- 8125, Blackjack, Blackberry 8800 & 8700c and my iPhone. The full body shields are just wonderfull and it does work perfect on the iPhone. The touch screen is as sensitive as if there was nothing on it. If you want protection with a lifetime warranty on the protective covering then feil safe about useing ShieldZone products. By the way I have no stock investiments in that company. LOL
That's just my openion and I'm sticking to it.... Last edited by zac123 : 07-23-2007 at 05:11 PM. |

All you really have to do is take your time when you apply them. I've used them and they do last a long time. Also keep the scratches off my phones.

Just curious.....how difficult is it to apply one of these full coverage shields to the iphone? Seems like it would be difficult to apply smoothly on the corners. I might consider one of these shield, as I'm anal about scratches. But if it looks lumpy on the corners.....forget it!
