I've been hearing rumours all over about a possible slimmed down iphone model similar to the ipod nano?

Is there any truth in this?

At this current time that's all just speculation as there has been no official word from Apple on the subject.

But it is a pretty safe bet that future models will be released follow a similar scailed down pattern as the ipod -> nano -> shuffle etc.
