Would you camp out for the iPhone?

Given todays announcement from AT&T that iPhone pre-sales will not be possible (AT&T: No iPhone Pre-Sales Allowed) im starting to fear long lines of tents and beverage flasks.

But would you bring yourself to camp out for a cellphone?

Sure in the past i waited in line for a Nintendo Wii - gaming consoles fair enough, but a cellphone? Well i dont know.

I think many people will be forming early queues on the eve of launch day - people have camped out in the past for a lot less.

Could the no pre-sales suggest Apple arent quite hitting the manufacturing numbers they need to satisy the launch demand...?

I had a blast camping for my PS3, but i really dont want to do it again aha.

No way, would I join the lines of people that will quite certainly be "camped out".

I will watch the news coverage from the comfort of my home theatre. :biggrin5:

Completely agree, after seeing the hoorendous queues for PS3 and Wii i really can't imagine anything worse

Maybe i can find someone willing to do the dirty work for me...
