Hi everyone, new here and currently owner of a BlackBerry Curve as well. As of right now, I am loving the iPhone, the push Yahoo mail works perfectly; however, unless it is just me, when I the phone goes into the lock mode I don't receive the email alert. Is this correct and if it is, is there any hack or way around it without leaving it "on" all the time and running out the battery? I work from home and can keep it basically on the charger indefinitely here but if I am out for the day I am concerned it will run down the battery before I get back.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

My push email alerts me regardless of whether or not the phone is in "locked", as in the screen is black from lack of recent use, or not...

Send a message via AIM to Dashichz
You may turn the settings on for vibrate because i do durring class, and i would imagine you would just have to turn the volume up to hear the ring.

-There should be a slide button on the left hand of this device, when the bar is slid up and no orange is showing, alerts will go through sleep mode.

I hope this helps.
