Hi folks,

I've just joined this site - and I need your help. I'm alright with low level technical stuff - but I need some help - seriously.

I have the iphone 3G which has been working okay. However for the last few days whenever I connect it to the PC at home it just crashes and shows a blue screen and crashes the PC.

If it helps, the fault code is 6.0.6000.2.0.0.768.3 (means nothing to me!)

I've been on apples site, and its near to useless. It sends you round in circles to the same page via 'more help' links. I've done everything I can such as:

Uninstall itunes
Uninstall Apple mobile device manager
reinstall itunes again
Restore the phone as it said
Reboot the PC again and again
reboot teh phone again and again

The PC on itunes just said "there is an iphone that needs to be restored before you can connect it to itunes"

So i restore it, and nothing happens. the phone is now dead (no calls and no display - other than a picture of a lead and an itunes logo) saying to connect to itunes.

I've done this process numerous times, to no avail. It's driving me nuts.

Please can someone put me out of my misery!!

Thanks,

Steve

Send a message via AIM to Dashichz
if that doesn't work, hopefully it is still under warranty. Take it in and get it exchanged.
