Incoming/out Going Call Help!

I have a 2G iphone and have the newest update for it.


whenever I try to make a call and press the phone icon it will go directly to the keypad and the strange thing is that it wont let me press any buttons at all. it will stay like this for about 10 seconds and then go back to the springboard or main page. It will not let me go into contacts, favorites etc etc.

When anyone calls it stays on the springboard and has that green bar ontop that says "touch her to return to call". I downloaded a contact app and thats how im able to make phone calls. But if that person does not pick up, I cant hang up.

I dont know if i pressed something wrong or if the update messed my phone up.

can someone shed some light please?

yes, apple has gotten a few of these "issues", what i would suggest is to restart your phone see if that fixes it, if it doesn't i would resync it, see if that fixes it, and if nothing else works you could either wait for another patch or you can bring it back to the store to see what they say. please post what you decide

I'm having a very similar problem my 2g iphone has every function working 100% but when I try to make a call it says call failed and goes to the retry screen no matter how many times I press retry it will not make the call and when I try to ring the phone it just ends my end and doesn't register on my iphone, strange though it will send and receive sms no problem anybody got any ideas please
