What time you heading out on the 29th?

The general concensus amoungst AT&T stores is that tey will close around 4 or 5pm to prepare for the launch and then re-open 6pm for the sales.

Im sure queues will already be starting to form around the 5-5pm mark, so im just wndering what time might be a good idea to get in a line.

Afterall it would seem kinda strange waiting in line for a store that is currently open

I'm gonna duck out of work around 4pm and drive over there, to be in line when they close.

Hopefully this won't bite me in the ass.

Question for any of you who've ever waited in lines before for a product like this. I was going to have my nephew wait in line for me before I get off work, he's not getting a phone himself, but is doing me a favor. So will anyone give me a hard time? He'll leave when I arrive, I'll literally be taking his palce, I just want to make sure there's no "etiquette" to this stuff that goes against this kind of thing....

I guess it depends on the group around you, but usually spot saving is frowned upon. But it depends how the stores are going to handle the launch.

They may very well hand out tokens or wrist bands for the first xx people in the queue when they close at 4pm - guaranteeing you a iphone.

Hey, first post here. I was thinking of heading to the mall at 3:30ish so that I can see what (if any) kind of line has formed and how ATT is handling it. Anyone here from the Pittsburgh area going early?

I wonder how much I'd have to juice the ATT guy to hold one for me? LOL.

I think it might be wise to call the ATT store at 1 or 2 to see if a line has started then. I hope not.
