Rate plans Officially Announced

These are cheap. Cheaper than the $100 I pay a month to Verizon for 450mins w/ Unlimited data.

Activation Method through iTMS

Watching the video now - but this is awesome, awesome news.

Activation seems as easy as only Apple could make it.

I think my pants are shrinking.

Very nice! Plans are cheaper than what I was paying at T-mobile! The activation is very nice... Guess the employees won't be shredding your box in front of you!

Love it - so simple.

The 'keep same number' process is very simple - i pray we get such a smooth connection setup in Europe.

- $59.99 for 450 voice minutes
- $79.99 for 900 voice minutes
- $99.99 for 1,350 voice minutes

All three plans include unlimited data (email & web), Visual Voicemail, 200 SMS text messages, roll over minutes and unlimited mobile to mobile calling.

Finally they give us some rock solid info

Did anyone else notice the 80GB capacity iphone during the syncing video?

Are apple hinting at a 2nd generation iphone already?

OMG... I didn't even notice that one! I am not going to be happy if an 80gb comes out six months after I drop $600 on the phone... But 80gb sure would be amazing. What is an average capacity on say, a CrackBerry? GOOD EYE MAN!

Nah, it's already been discussed that someone used an 80gig iPod for some of the video by accident.

Most people think it means someone's gonna get fired.

I like how on this pic you can see at the top that the iphone has 7.xxGB of capacity, but at the bottom it shows the 80gb. Yeah, I agree, someone has lost their job...

Sorry for the small pic, you gotta take my word for it, or watch it again!

Being an ATT customer now I hope that I can renew my plan through iTunes when I activate.

I wouldn't be surprised if all of the various movies, demos, commercials, etc. are created using modified mock-up iPhones. It could explain the never-updating, never-changing upper display on all iPhone photos, etc. (always shows 9:42 AM, always shows 5 bars signal strength, battery always full, Bluetooth always on...). Just a thought.

It gave you an option to choose whether you are new or used... I mean current.
