On the official at&t website their 'find a store' feature has been updated to enable you to search for iphone stocked stores.

http://www.wireless.att.com/find-a-store/

By typing in yourcity, state, or zip code it will tell you which AT&T stores will definitely have iPhones - might be worth checking before you bunk down there

Looks like I have 5 choices AND an Apple Store to choose from. I'll be making my phone calls before I leave. "Hey, how long is your iPhone line?"
