First off I apologize if this has already been discussed. I've been searching everywhere for the answer but can't seem to find it. I was hopeing those with the phone could give me some insight.

I was wondering if there was a way to connect the phone to a computer and use it as an internet source? I just recently graduated from college and would love to be able to use the iphone as my cell phone, ipod, etc. but also for an internet source for my macbook at home instead of having to pay for another service provider. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That ability, which is called "Tethering" does not seem to be something that you can do at this time. (Sadly - I think a lot of the 'tech-savvy' fans really wanted that.)

I'd say we'll have the ability once someone hacks the phone.

No idea when that'll be, however.

They started selling them on Apple.com at 6pm EST last night.
