Do you sign a contract with AT&T as soon as you buy the iPhone, or is there no commitment untill you activate it on your mac/pc? (Because I want to buy one, but my contract isn't up untill mid-july)
How fast (or slow actually) is EDGE? Does cover flow load up ever album fast, or does it load the artwork as you look at it? What is the ringer on/off switch like? (compare it to something) |

I got between 140kb/sec and 161kb/sec while shopping with full signal. At home I got 49-70kb/sec with 2 bars.

Wow, that's pretty good for EDGE. Are you sure you weren't freeloading a wireless somewhere? At home, I get pretty good speed from the iPhone on my wireless internet network, but in town I got 40Kb, which is dial-up, basically.
I'll try some more places and see what I get with EDGE. |
