I readit somewere one info regarding to aTV was hacked and the firmware modified and also added new software functionality to aTV. So, the logical question is if the hackers are already working to add some more functionality to iPhone? I REALLY want a REAL GPS sollution for iPhone. Bassically aTV and iPhone are sharing the same OS(X) under the hood.

Yes, great news. Also I readit somewere that they have some succes using the iPod features of the phone without to activate previously. So, step by step, little by little...

P.S. I hope they will be able also to develop a real SDK for iPhone and not the joke web2.0 unusefull apps that are serving Apple.

My Palm Zire72 also dont have GPS capabilities but Im using this unit as a GPS device! Whats the trick? You need an external GPS locator with Bluetooth, also GPS software for your device and.... voila. Your device is a GPS one. iPhone have a better Bluetooth radio (2.0 instead of 1.1 how I have), so practically IS possible to use the iPhone like a GPS device. This unit only need software to enable this capabilities, software called TomTom or iGO, or... whatever.
