Hi all, everytime I'm on the phone with someone I can barely hear them, even if I turn the volume (using the buttons on the side) all the way up whil ein a phone call. Has anyone experienced this? Anyone know how to resolve this, some setting somewhere perhaps? Thanks in advance any help.

Obviously as a last resort I will, anyone with some actual useful help?

Well that's why I would have done first, not last, they made the phone after all. When I bought my first iMac, I took it out of the box and noticed 2 dead pixels, I called them without hesitation and had a new iMac the following week. The is rev. A hardware, if doesn't work correctly, demand a replacement and you'll get it. If you really demand it you'll get what you want.

I hear you, just was curious if this is a settings issue or not, and if anyone else had this problem. Hmm, I will call them if nothing else tho.

Been on hold for 2 hours. Bout to give up. On a side note, anyone have trouble syncing their contacts and calenders with their Outlook at work? I thought I selected the right check boxes under the info tab and hit apply, but nothing was synced. Any ideas?

actually Im an idiot. The plastic cover was covering the speaker so I poked a hole I it, works fine now

OMG!! When you say plastic cover, what do you mean? The Apple factory, protective one? If you mean that you should really remove it.
