If you've discovered any nice little shortcuts or features that help speed up the ipone's useability or whatnot share them in here and we'll try get a nice little list going.
1. Scroll up to the Address bar with one touch When browsing a long web page it can take a while to flick all the way again back to the top if it, instead of flicking just touch the very top bar (the one with the AT&T text and time on there) and it'll shoot you right back to the address bar. 2. Hard Reboot If for some reason your iPhone freezes up and holding the sleep/wake button doesnt fix it you can perform a 'hard reboot'. To do this just hold the sleep/wake button and the home button for 10 seconds then all should be back to normal again. 3. Close A Non-Responsive Program To force-close a non-responsive program (Safari!), simply hold the Home Button down for approximately 6 seconds. (Kender) 4. Find The URL Of A Link To find the URL of a link in Safari just tap and hold on the link and a bubble will pop up showing you the URL it links to. |

I accidently found out ow to delete emails without hitting the "edit" button. When you are viewing your full list of emails, simply place your finger at the far left of the email you want to delete, then slide your finger to the right... If you do it right, a DELETE button will appear at the right side. I don't know if this was a discussed feature, as I never read manuals

Your email address on iPhone is:
##########@txt.att.net Where ########## is your cellular telephone number.

I saw this list and just thought I'd add one myself.
This is how I got my iPhone, through a third party site. It took about 2 weeks but I got it completely for free. Just thought you guys might find it cool. (removed by Mod). I'm not soliciting anything, I don't work for them- I just got mine and I thought that some other people out there might want one, or a second one for free. |

To me, it looks like you're trying to get something (even a referral) out of us. Last edited by SimonTuffGuy : 07-24-2007 at 05:43 PM. |

While it is neat that if someone wants to text your phone via e-mail (saves them the charge), you'll still get hit with it I believe, as AT&T will probably count that as an incoming message. |
