Hello everyone. I'm a new forum member and very glad to find this site. I'm writing because I've just encountered a problem with my iPhone. (4gig)

Yesterday, after the update was installed, I synced my iPhone and received a message telling me that: "'calendar' could be not be synced because iPhone disconnected." The fact is that it didn't disconnect. It kept charging, it allowed me to add songs, photos, and contacts. I have done several resets of both the settings and data. I restored the original backup files, I even started from scratch and named the phone with a different name. Still no calendar files are uploading to the phone. Does anyone have any insight regarding this particular problem? I don't know if the update was a contributing factor or if it was just a coincidence, but I need that calendar to be up and working.

Thanks in advance,

Donagh

Ahhh... many lookers, but no takers. In the mean time, I was on the phone to Apple support. Here's what the problem turned out to be. Hopefully, this answer will help iPhone owners who encounter this problem in the future.

One by one, I synced only one calendar at a time to see which one failed to load. Once that was determined. i simply created a new calendar with a part of the same name. (Example: Personal = Pers) Then, tediously, drag the appointments from the corrupted calender into the new one. (test it first, with just a few to be certain that it works) Then delete the corrupted calendar and ammend the name back to the original name of the bad calendar (Pers becomes Personal)

Anyway, that worked for me, and I hope it helps someone else in the future.
