I am new to this forum was wanting to know what to do about headphones I am having a hard time finding some to fit in the hole I have bought a couple of different kinds to have nothing work... I bought the zune headphones from microsoft which a couple of threads said it would work which it fit in the hole fine but I only got sound out of the left speaker and not the right... Can anyone help me out and tell me if they have had any luck with any headphones without buying the adapter for the hole any help would be thankful....

More than likely you will need to get an adaptor for the headphones to work! If the headphones have the right sized tip.....it may not fit because the hole on the iphone is recessed......and in that case, the only way for the tip to fit in would be to shave some of the plastic off above the tip.....so the tip can go further in.

I've heard of people shaving the plastic above the tip to make them fit... Aside from that, you'll need to go with an Apple product or get their adaptor.
