Has anyone successfully managed to modify their iphones? I'd love to see some examples of the kinda mods that are possible and any really cool customization anyone's done

I hacked mine using iBrickr (windows based) - installed the Installer app and then added the rest of my programs via that. I've got the NES embulator, minesweeper, lights off, along with chat, vice recorder and a few alternate hacks to change the background images, rearrange the springboard, etc.

iBrickr does not work with iTunes 7.4... My guess it is Apples way of forcing people to not upload ringtones, since it does the same thing with all other hacker softeware across the board....

launch - Actually - iBrickr DOES work with iTunes 7.4... even 7.4.1 to be exact... You need to download an older version of the old iTunesMobileDevice.DLL and it works just fine. I'm running the 1.0.2 firewarm AND iTunes 7.4.1 and it's working fine.
