Outlook/Itunes question???????????

I can't get Itunes and Outlook to talk. I'm trying to transfer my Outlook contacts and schedule into my Iphone, but Itunes won't sync up with outlook. Go figure Microsoft and Apple don't wanna cooperate. Does anyone have any ideas?

I feel your pain! I have had my iPhone for about a month and have never been able to get my contacts and calendar to sync from Outlook to my iPhone.......so I ended up manually entering all my contacts and calendar to my iPhone. Very tedious, I know! I need to call Apple eventually to get help on this.....I just haven't had the time or patience to call Apple. I know I need to take care of this before I ever have to send my phone to Apple for a repair or battery replacement.....otherwise I will lose my contacts and still not be able to sync........Grrrrr!!!!

Help! Anyone???

You guys do have the settings under iTunes seup so that it should be syncing them, right?

Connect your phone, select it under Devices. On the Info tab, make sure that you've checked the box next to "Sync contacts from" and choose Outlook. Do the same for "Sync calendars from"

I've also got my mail account to sync over and the bookmarks from Internet Explorer...

Mine have gone over from day one... I'm running Office 2003 Student Teacher edition... I was even able to transfer all of my contacts from my Motorola V3 Razr over from MobilePhoneTools into Outlook, and then from Outlook to my iPhone.

I too have the 2003 Student/Teacher Edition and successfully synced my email account and bookmarks.....but my contacts and calendar did not sync.....and I had the proper boxes checked, etc. I don't know why they won't sync! It's a mystery to me!

Weird... You have your contacts and calendar all setup under the main mailbox right? Meaning... you don't have the contacts or calendar under another mailbox?
