I cant help but think this could be a similar outcome to the PS3, with such a high priced item - will people really pay for it?

Ofcourse it will, i think Apple will struggle to make anywhere near enough iphones for launch, expect a decent sized waiting list.

Recent polls and surveys show a huge demand for the iphone and im quite sure apple wont be able to meet it come D day.

Not with all the flash chips in korea.
