If i purchase a brand new phone from apple or an at&t store that has the version 1.1.2 out of the box. would i be able to downgrade this version to 1.1.1 and unlock it without any problems?
Or does this pose any risks of the phone never working again? im new to the iphone game. please help me ![]() |

From what i've read recently you might have to wait a while locker as their isn't any confirmed unlocking methods for the latest 1.1.2. A lot seems to depend on the exact build issue of the new iPhones.
Here's a handy page to keep track of the various versions and their status: http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dgzw9xs_0gfhxns&pli=1
