ok here goes... I have an iphone with software v1.02, jailbroken with ibrickr and 3rd party apps, games, customizers, etc. I havnt done anything with the sim(unlocking), so my question is can I update to any new software/firmware? Will I be brickd, is it even worth it? I'd really approciate a positive answer as I havnt been able to get one. Thank you very much!

I started with 1.1.2

I downgraded to 1.1.1 then back to 1.1.2 and software upgraded to 1.1.3
Keep in mind that if you go to 1.1.3 some third party apps will not work.

iPhone: 1.1.3
Unlocked - Tmobile
Installer app - installed

Try this site I found to be very easy to use, they have everything you will need ............ I will suggest to read everything carefully before you start.

My iPhone got stuck twice because I forgot a step and it turned into a brick, but a few steps and I got it out and working again. It is very clear if you miss a step you have to do the whole procedure all over again from the begining.

It was a lot of fun .......
