OTB 1.1.2 iPhone, brand new.

Used latest Independence on Mac .... went through all the steps, right up to the install anySIM when realized that it won't work with 1.1.2!!!!!

Have functioning WiFi / iPod, etc., Just no Phone,etc.

Is there another method to getting any Sim working on a 1.1.2 phone? or do I need to go through and downgrade to 1.1.1 so can install anySIM to work with FIDO here in Canada?

Can I just do the instructions again by starting the downgrading to 1.02 without bricking anything? How to upgrade to 1.1.1, itunes wants to upgrade to 1.1.2?? Easy enough to download Apple's 1.1.1 file but...

An help is appreciated!!!

I'm no expert on this but as far as I know you will have to downgrade and have the 1.1.1 on you HD then tell iTunes that you will use it instead of 1.1.2

for me I had some bad time downgrading and still can't jailbreak it, any tips?
