Emm, really, as Jobs just told at WWDC, there no SDK needed for 3d party aps. You just need to work with "web 2.0" and AJAX.
All aps will load on Safari engine, so that's look smarty.

And there are a LOT of developers that feel like they were just slapped in the face by Steve and Apple.

Of course, but AJAX has big potential and, again, it's all about security.

If it is all about security, then do you really want all of your information flying over the airwaves at all times, or wouldn't your information be more secure if it resided locally on your iPhone where only you have access to it.

Of course there you have to worry about physical security. Anyone can walk up and look at your stuff on your iPhone. *sigh*

I want a real SDK - because I want to see what people can do with iPhone.

So do I, so do I. I can't wait until I'm able to release PocketMoney* for the iPhone.

*PocketMoney is my Newton, Palm, and PPC personal finance app.

*gapes*

Now I want YOU to have the SDK.

(Two of the apps I lust for on iPhone are what I use daily on my Treo. PocketQuicken (to sync with Quicken) and eBook Reader)
