Gundotra went on to reiterate Google’s viewpoint on focusing more on it’s Android mobile operating system then any actual handset device, “We are ultimately talking about thousands of devices”. Google has already managed to recruit some 34 partners for its Android OS as part of an alliance to help develop the system. The first of the Android products are sceduled for release in Q4 of 2008.
