iPhone PostPaid iPhone PrePaid (Pay As You Go) iPhone Hybrid (Pick Your Plan) So what does this mean? Basically this means that since prepaid customers will be able to purchase the iPhone so too can anyone regardless of whether they are due for an upgrade or not. However, subscribers of these plans must purchase phones at full price, without benefit of subsidies. Source: http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2007/...prepaid-users/ |

Wow, i really hope this true!
This would be a good move by Apple and really open up the iPhone to it's much craved 'mass market'. Why they cant just come out and announce the service plans and put an end to all the speculation i dont know. |

Iphone supports prepaid, sorta...
Actually with the activation process through itunes, a customer is required to enter their information for a credit check or a credit pre-approval number attained at the store at purchase, now if they do not pass the credit check they can either return to the point of sale and figure out a deposit, or as well in itunes it will give the option for prepaid service; and the only prepaid service that will be available will be Pick Your Plan, and a payment method, ie credit card will be necessary.
