Apple Stores Prepare For iPhone

Think i can see a power cord in one of those pics. I wonder if apple are going to display 'life size' iphones for everyone to demo the touchscreen interface.

It's probably more like an LCD TV with a Mac Mini built in - gonna run demos of the phone in big shiny color so people can ooh and ahh about it.

Bonus cool points to Apple if the the thing rotates 90 degrees and plays the iPhone ads.

Our AT&T store in West Michigan had two security guys, one inside, one outside, but IMHO it wasn't even close to being necessary.

Mac folks are almost always extremely polite, and that seemed to be who was in line at my store, anyways. Out of 30 people I saw 3 MacBook Pros and 2 MacBooks.
