Taiwanese newspaper, the Commercial Times, are claiming that multiple handset component suppliers have already begun to ship parts for the new Apple iPhone that is expected to launch in June.
According to the newspaper the shipments of actual iPhone devices could range from between 2-3 million in the quarter following the device's launch.
Whilst this information has not been verified it does fit well with the typical production schedules to acquire parts to produce enough devices to satisfy the initial demand.
