Advertisers im sure will soon get a really great footing on the iPhone, sure all the wallpaper and ringtone crap will take a hit - but the big marketers will have a field day.

I don't think the size of the iPhone will be detrimental at all. There has already been so much hype and speculation that a large portion of the population already has heard of the iPhone and are waiting to see just what it's all about.
Not only will the iPhone call a lot of attention to the mobile phone space, but the smart phone category as a whole. It will also be a boost for other companies like Samsung, the current giant of the industry that is creating new devices at a very rapid pace. They already are on the cusp of releasing a device not too much unlike the iPhone. There is nothing but positive that will come from the attention drawn to the iPhone. |
