Moshi-son packs it’s punch through the use of and array of 7 lithium-ion batteries and a computerized power controller. It is flat, flexible, covered in flexible foam and water resistant, and weighs about as much as two iPhones. That isn’t a lot of weight to have a furnace and an outlet on your back. This guy has 3 heat settings that will provide about 8.5 hours of continuous heat on low, and for those that need lots and lots of heat, it will give you 1.8 hours on high. You don’t even have to choose between heat or charge because it does ‘em both at the same time. As far as charging capacity, you will be able to squeeze about 10-20 charges for your USB chargeable devices like iPods/iPhones, cell phones, GPS devices, or cameras. This of course depends on the battery capacity of said devices.
So now with every great little gadget out there, we now get to talk about integration. You can never just buy one little thing and be happy. The Power Pack has plug and play compatibility with the Mountain Hardware Refugium and Radiance jackets as well as the Sitka Dutch Oven vest.
