Google makes our lives better yet again! They have released the latest edition of Google Earth for iPhone today. Google Earth managed to make it to the top of the free app list in just six short months. They also had 220,000 of their users take the time to leave a comment about the app. I can’t even wrap my head around the total number of people that are running this app if 220,000 of them found the time to actually sit down and write a review.

Anyway, it looks as though Google has done a bit of tweaking on their Earth program. They have added the ability to view maps you create on your desktop computer right from your iPhone, added several new languages to the app, and improved the icon selection and performance. Also they have tweaked the browsing options a little: “Now, when you touch an icon, a small glow appears under your finger to let you know which icon you have picked. If your finger touches more than one icon, you'll be taken to a list of all icons, so you can select the one you are interested in.” Check out the whole release here.

Great stuff Google! Keep it comin’! I know that I am in love with all that you have done thus far. Now lets sprinkle a little urgency on Chrome for Mac. I want to check it out!
