Google releases free IMAP for iPhone

October 26th, 2007

I am a couple days late on this but on Wednesday October 24 2007 google announced that it has added imap access for Gmail. This will now enable iPhone users to avoid the problem of using POP 3 accounts and now be able to access their email through the IMAP function. Interestingly enough google seems to be highly supportibve of this new feature and has even released a how to video.

More information about this new update can be found here here.
