“So, I Was Sitting in My Cubicle Today, and Then I Realized – There’s Only 3 Days Until Halloween…” No kidding! I have absolutely no clue what to go as this Halloween, and to top it off, my boyfriend and I have been invited to a neighborhood party. There is no way we can go sans costumes. But wait…there’s an app for that!
“Halloween Costume Generator” has over 150 great (not lame) ideas with detailed descriptions and instructions of what to buy, how to get it together, and other fun stuff. It enables you to check out pics of a chosen costume, add ideas to a favs list, listen to your “theme song”, plus many other random fun info. Once you find a costume you like, you can email it to yourself or to friends (for opinions or coordinating).
If a certain type of costume is needed, filters can be set up for appropriate costumes. It also gives a Halloween countdown, and a cool feature of shaking your iPhone to keep going until you find the one you like.
“Halloween Costume Generator” has been featured on ABCNews.com and on Apple’s Top Halloween Apps List. Mac World rated the generator 4 out of 5 and their favorite costume app, citing “helpful pics and playful attitude…an app with a sense of humor.” The app has a rating of 17+ for some adult content and language.

After watching how “Halloween Costume Generator” helped solve my problem, here are some links to the software maker and additional links fun links related to our chosen costumes. I’ve even added a place where you can take your “theme song” and make it your iPhone ringtone (or download mine).
