March 27th, 2008
As the iPhone hacking scene continues to evolve and grow, such unlocking and jailbreaking tools are becoming more and more polished and perfected, which is certainly the case with these two new tools.
George Zhu creator of iLibery and iPlus creator Aviegas have decided to pool their knowledge in order to create two new general hacking tools for the iPhone, iLiberty+ for Windows and iLibertyX for the Mac.
These all-purpose tools allow the user to jailbreak both the iPhone and iPod Touch and the ability to unlock the firmware right the way upto firmware 1.1.4 for all bootloaders.
Many users who used Ziphone have reported issues with EDGE/Wi-Fi and Bluetooth - iLiberty+ fixes these issue.
More information on these two new tools can be found at their homepage
