iPhone 2.0 demand #1
November 27th, 2007Finally! I am now finishing what I started. I am writing the final of my top 15 demands for iPhone 2.0. I have thought long, and on occasion I have even thought hard. What do I really want from my iPhone?
What addition could make the iPhone the ultimate cell phone out there. Well I know that I want to be able to pick someone to provide my service besides AT&T. So yeah Apple get rid of this exclusive contract crap and just let me pick my own carrier. If you had just done that from the start imagine what your sales would look like? Imagine how much money you would save instead of having to pay entire teams of people to come up with ways to stop us from unlocking the damn thing.
Really Apple this one is a no brainer.
So there you have it folks the final of my top 15, I hope you liked some of them.

While I kind of agree, I can understand where Apple’s coming from as far as sticking with one provider. I wonder how many providers would cooperate with Apple’s requirement to set up special systems in order for Visual Voicemail to work. How many of them would profit-share with Apple if that was their demand. Would it really make more sense for Apple to negotiate these things with tons of firms? Why not strike a deal with one?
One thing I don’t agree with Apple on is locking the phone. That I think is plain vicious and moreso - killing the unlock with firmware updates is even more crappy on their part. What stupid difference does this make for them - pissing people off… (while actually making better profit on increased sales!!!). Not to mention they are pissing some of the most loyal Apple users! (who else on Earth would spend 600, or 400 bucks on a phone!) That game is plain stupid and brainless, agreed with that…
If they can add a video Camera to this it would be awsome
so maybe a falsh and zooming in too
