iPhone 2.0 demand #5: External mouse pad

November 19th, 2007

I realize that this is also another one of those whimsical features in line with the instant contact sharing I want. However I can’t help but wonder if this would be possible, for not only am I an iPhone enthusiast, I also dig working on car engines, and car engines are dirty things.

One of the things I do when working on a car is use a website called all data that contains all kinds of repair information on every make and model of car ever made, the problem is that often my hands have oil and grease residue (go figure I was working on an engine) and sometimes I get a few smears on my screen. Then I realized I probably am not the only person who gets their hands dirty that owns an iPhone.

So I figured what would be really neat would be a attachable external mouse pad or something. I mean think about it. if this was a feature you wouldn’t have to get your screen messy, try to work around your fingers and all kinds of good stuff.

So Apple engineers if you are reading this blog (or if someone knows one) please make an external mouse pad!
