3G iPhone Developing Cracks In The Plastic?

A number of 3G iPhone owners are reporting cracks appearing on the plastic back plate of their iPhone’s. The hairline cracks are said to be visible near the corners, volume and vibrate controls, near speakers, and around the headphone jack.
There have been reports of cracks appearing on both the black and white 3G models, although the cracks on the white models are obviously more visible.
Apple are honouring any complaints by offering replacement devices for the cracked iPhones.
