Bank of America analyst Scott Craig predicts Apple will launch their much awaited 3G enabled iPhone in June. AT&T have previously confirmed that they will be launching a 3G capable iPhone sometime in 2008 but have not specified an exact date for the release.
"Our latest channel checks point to a significant production build of a 3G iPhone beginning in the month of June after a initial small build in May," says Bank of America's Scott Craig.
The analyst also estimates that production volume will hit around 3 million units in May followed by a further 8 million in Q3 of this year which would surpass Gartner's previous estimates of 10 million.
