US Phone Sales Place iPhone In 6th Position

February 28th, 2008

iphone.jpgA new report by research firm NPD Market Research Group, has placed the iPhone as the 6th best selling Cellphone in the US for 2007.

The iPhone machine to grab some 2.5% of the market share while only being available through half of 2007. Motorola grabbed an impressive 32% with Samsung’s 17% putting them in second place just 1% above third place LG with 16%.

With Apple’s upcoming iPhone SDK release and other feature releases maybe Apple can hit that elusive 10 million unit quota after all.
